My F-i-L put all kinds of gizmatchies like that on the truck my wife and I now have. Most of it (altimeter, inside and outside thermometers, compass) have seen better days, i.e., are broken. Some I will replace at some point. We'll see.

Eric that CB can do some real damage to ones lower legs in that position. Especially to someone like me with very thin skin over the shin bones.
