1967-70 brake shoe pad question

Hi Everyone,
I got a quick question on a new set of brake shoes I picked up earlier today.
In the past I have been purchasing my shoe pads from one part store that sells Raybestos brake shoes, and having nothing but problems after problems with them. I decided to get new brake shoes somewhere else.

Today I went to Kragens, there brake shoes are also made by Raybestos, but the pads are riveted on, not like the glued ones i'm currently using. These are for a 1967 C10, 4x2, I6, 250, look identical, and I believe they should work without a problem, but wanted to get you guys opinions first.

Also on the trip to & from Kragens, the brakes on the front would not work, but the rears did, and stopped me with a loud eeeeerrrrrrrrr. The 1967-70 brake shoes should be the same to at least 1960 right?

Either will work. Bonded and riveted are usually available for almost any application.

The one thing to be careful of with the riveted type, keep an eye on them when they get worn down. If you go too far or forget to change them, those rivets cut into the drum first!
