Jabin Wood/gmachinz

Over two years ago I met Jabin halfway to Des Moines. I sent with him all my GMC trim pieces plus 8 or 9 gmc grilles in various stages of repair. We had agreed he would refinish/repair a set of trim for me and he could keep the leftover pieces for himself. We also discussed my wiring, he was going to take care of my harnesses for power windows, locks, electric mirrors. I purchased
a set of power mirrors from him, you guys seen em advertised, gm dumbo/silver style mirrors, with power actuators. I went to pay him for the mirrors, he told me he’d knock off fifty dollars and ship them. I told him just to hang on to them and I would pick them up when I came to get my trim and grille. I bought other pieces off of him, paid ,he’d ship the stuff. He’s even sent window switches and door lock switches that I haven’t paid him for yet. Now I’ve been trying to get ahold of him for the last year or so. He won’t answer the phone, won’t reply to email or texts. I am ready for my trim pieces and grille and I would like my things back. He can contact me. I’ve had many flawless transactions on this site. I can’t help but wonder what’s up here. Darin Pagliai

Re: Jabin Wood/gmachinz

I bought from him 1 time with good results but I have seen his name come up below on this area before. Some good some bad. I personally would not purchase anything from him again as it's a 50/50 gamble with him it seems. Hope you get your pieces returned in the condition agreed upon.

He is no longer a member. He had several chances over the years, and did have many good deals. However, he has been reported to many times over this. We do not condone that behavior.

howdy Liz, any discussions about adding itrader to the forum?

this would be very useful for the heavy marketplace volume and given the sellers are all paid level members..

I'll even commit to a paid level even though I haven't really needed it as I'm always buying

it works very well, handily sorts out the deadbeats and keeps the good guys on their toes

and as always I've volunteered to help anywhere I could be useful..

thank you!

Description:
iTrader for vBulletin has evolved from Trader Ratings for vB 3.0.x which evolved from Buy/Sell/Trade User Rating System for vB 2.x. This is a rating system for when members buy / sell / trade items from each other (presumably on a FS section of your forum). It is somewhat based on the honor system since there is no automatic way to truly tell if they did engage in a transaction. iTrader came about because it was a pain to try and maintain a single thread listing good / bad traders and so far has worked out quite well.

Features:
Rate another member: Positive / Negative / Neutral
Specify in each transaction: Buyer, Seller, or Trade
Leave multiple comments about the deal
Dates & IPs are all recorded to prevent abuse
Specify a thread URL to the deal
Advanced URL checking
Display ratings over time
Filter based on Buyer/Seller/Trade/or feedback they left for others
Users can edit/delete ratings left for others (time based limitation)
iTrader Admins can edit/delete anyone's ratings (just incase)
PM notification when new rating or comment is left
Per-usergroup permissions
Lots of admin controllable options

Installation / Upgrade Info:
Read the included readme file, it explains everything.
