Re: Tires???????

31x10.50 should fit fine, I had 32x11.50s on my 82 2wd with no lift and would barely make contact wit the inner fender and the upper fender lip. I rolled the lip a bit so it wouldn't cut the tires. That was in the front, in the back the 32x11.50s fit just fine.

Re: Tires???????

The 275/60/15 tire is basically a 27.99" tall tire and the 275/70/15 is a 30.16" tire. That will change your rear end gearing a lot, even if it fits under the fender. If you are running a rear end ratio that is 3.42 or lower, then you will experience some issues with acceleration and also with RPMs at highway speeds and fuel consumption.

Re: Tires???????

why not run a 235/75R15...lots of choices for tires, and probably what your pickup had stock.

Re: Tires???????

Done deal haha. I was going to go with some A/T tires but decided against it. I've had cooper cobra's on most of my vehicles and I'm glad I got them for this truck too. Mine is only 2wd as well, but I haven't had any problems getting stuck off road. Granted I mostly go off into some mud here and there, (and more recently snow), nothing crazy but I've been fine so far. Unless you are planning some serious wheeling You can get away with standard type tires without a problem.

This is all just info to use as you see fit. Personally, if I had a bit more cash at the time I would probably have gone with General Grabber AT2's in 265/70/15. Good price, great reviews, and quite the sexy tread pattern if I do say so myself.

Re: Tires???????

I've never tried them on anything this heavy, hadn't heard anything before about them being bad for a truck.
