is everyone using the factory length u-bolts with these brackets?

I think stock u bolts would be fine since you are not adding to the overall diameter much. Only the thickness of the brackets wich I assume they are out of 3/8" mild steel.

I'll post mine tommorow. Probably gonna take my overload spring out, cut the center section out and use it to get another 1/2 inch or so of drop. Anybody make a 1 inch or more block that will work with these?

Yes, they go towards the front. The offset compensates for the angle change, keeps from having to shorten the driveshaft. Thanks, Fred.
