What a difference from the LS in that Camaro that I posted earlier...it just looks like a stock V8.

It does have a Holley EFI Throttle Body, so that help it look more factory stock, the valve covers are just false covers to hide the coils.

i am using the factory tbi set up basically i have changed the intake and am using the bigger Holley throttle body other than that it is all of the stock components and those were pretty much problem free so i dont expect to have any issues there , like i said dont get me wrong i love the LS motors just prefer the look of the original....LOL i am sure after having my truck done a few years it will probably get an LS upgrade, but for now and for the overall look i am trying to achieve i just like the 350

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

Congrats Eric, I didn't think it would be too long for the mags to pick it up.

I also love the 1st gen motors, had long talks with a buddy that builds at your level, but I couldn't spend over $10g's to get over 500hp.

Your truck will look awesome with a LS motor, which version would you get, any power adders? The E-Rod came out after I ordered my motor, it had me second guessing my choice...or a truck 6.0l with a Magnaflow blower, gotta go by another lotto ticket. Guess the '40 is on the front burner now??? Keep us in the loop.

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

There is an adapter to use the stock small block valve covers on the ls motors, here is a link ---> http://www.compperformancegroupstore...gineComponents

Jegs, summit, speedway has them as well

Nice

I have to ask...did someone catch the still shot right as you applied the brakes or did you go back and re-stage that picture? Either way it's a cool picture

I could have gone a lot further with it but she started to turn sideways and I did not want to hit the wall.
