There is just one cable at the front. What motor did your truck come with originally?

Re: Emergency Parking Brakes cables? WTB

You are looking for the intermediate cable. The bb version with a th400 is different from the sb version and can be harder to locate. Inline tube offers them as do some other places. Advance and other parts stores also can get them but it is a crap shoot to get the correct length. Should run from $15-$25 dollars.

Hey petey...

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but sometimes a pic is worth a 1000 words....This is the setup for a 67/68, but I think the routing is pretty much the same....at least it'll give you something to reference....I believe the 69-72 routing carries the foot ebrake cable thru the firewall
just to the left of the steering column (if you are sitting in the truck)....

Yes thankyou that is the part I need I circled it in yellow the rest is still on the truck. I do have the Th400 crossmember too if that helps... I just don't want to buy something and have it be the wrong part and have to deal with shipping it back and all the fun that comes along with it..

Re: Emergency Parking Brakes cables? WTB

here it is....looks like the only thing you'll need is the cable from the foot pedal to the intermediate cable (the one that connects the rear ebrake cables to the rear brakes)...by the way...all these parts will cleanup nicely with a little blasting and paint!!!...$30 plus shipping

Re: Emergency Parking Brakes cables? WTB

Inline tube has the correct intermediate cable part number IN425 - $18 for OEM , $25 for stainless, short wheel base th400 makes no difference engine size it is about trans locations. Give them a call. I bought complete set from them for my 4x4 restore and it is as original in every way.
