My 71 Cheyenne

Here's my truck. It's been a pretty local truck all its life...from Sandy, OR, to Beaverton, OR, now in Vancouver, WA(just across the Columbia). Basic mods, custom wheels, and a new engine in '86. It's my shop's parts truck, but it stays cleaner than my personal vehicles :P

Got it buffed out today by a friend that works for Steves Auto Restorations in Gresham, OR...turned out nice!

I used to own a '70 Chevy that I purchased when I was 16, had it for many years, and ended up selling it to fund an engagement ring :P

Re: My 71 Cheyenne

Very nice truck. What are your wheel/ tire specs? Someone always asks. 3/4 drop looks great.

Re: My 71 Cheyenne

Thanks!

Wheels are 17x8 fronts and customer 17x9.5 rears. Fit pretty good.

The drop is actually pretty janky right now... when I got the truck, the old owner had a bunch of parts never installed, including 5 or 6" drop coils for rear and 2" for the front. Looked horrible, so I chopped a bunch off the front coils :P

It's more like a 4/6 drop I would guess. Going to redo the suspension sometime this year and go drop spindles to get some camber back...maybe go another 1.5" rear and .5" fr

I sure wish my '71 was half that nice . I love that color combo, that's what mine is too and it is pretty sharp in my opinion.
