Satin vs. Flat Black

Hey,

Was wondering what looked better on these trucks, satin or flat black paint? Pictures would help!

Re: Satin vs. Flat Black

Satin definitely has a more finished look to it. Flat just looks cheap in my opinion.

Re: Satin vs. Flat Black

When I did my truck it took me for ever to decide, when I finaly decided on flat black I was nervouse as heck until I saw the finished product, as soon as I saw it I was relieved that I made the right choice. All that being said it is definitly personal opinion, for me and my truck I think its perfect but that doesnt mean its for every one, I do get alot of complements on the flat black, I would suggest google images and decide for yourself

Re: Satin vs. Flat Black

Tater do you have a pics of your truck? I would like to see as I'm also interested on the topic of this thread.

BTW if you look at my avatar, my truck is flat black, but my grill is satin black. Using rustoleum paint that you mentioned applied via spray gun.

DZL1.

Re: Satin vs. Flat Black

For a truck, flat black, then you don't have to wash it or clean it ever. Shiny is for city cars.
