It's great to see another young guy interested in these trucks. That's a sweet looking truck to start with. What are your plans?

Great shots of your truck - don't worry about the rust - it can be fixed.

Re: my first 62

you have not seen rust till you see what my 62 needed...yours looks like its not that bad, good news is the parts are cheap and pretty simple to install once you get ofer taking a sawzall to your truck, u got the grill for the 62 ? I got my 62 when I was 13 when my grandfather passed away, he was the 1st owner, I have had over 100 cars since then in my shop and car business and the 62 always will be here

Good luck with the project !!

Re: my first 62

I've got the whole process in my build. The link is in my signature. If you can do a cab corner the cab support shouldn't be a problem. Look at the new cab support and drill old spot welds, remove and reverse order. I know these steps are vague. The main reason I'm writing this is to tell you to fit your door that you will be using to your new rocker. If door needs repair, I would do it first. It might be a PITA to do, but so would cutting your new rocker loose because it didn't line up. Just my .02

Do you have the new parts for your "A" post?
