New to the forum

I'm new to the c10 world. I purchased a frame that was advertised as 67-72 c10. But before I go any further I wanted to be sure. I searched the site and couldn't pin point a specific difference between years and options. Thanks in advance.

This pic shows where the frame Partial Vin #'s are. Drivers side in front of the engine perches. The 8 is 1968 & the Z is Fremont Ca. Assembly Plant.

Re: New to the forum

I've looked at the partial Vin decoder pages and still can't make heads or tails of this going to wire brush it when I get back and see if there's any more of it.

You do need to clean off the frame, wire brush, wire wheel, sand paper. Also what is needed is more pictures further away form the frame Vin #'s for all of us too see other aspects of the frame. Need to see if it is a 67-72 frame, what is shown in your pic the frame doesn't look right. WHAT you are looking for is a Letter being where the truck was made and the Number just to the left of the letter that being the Year of the truck. All the numbers to the Right of the letter is the Sequential numbering of how many came off the assembly line.

MORE BETTER PICTURES please!!!
