Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

72 C20 Cheyenne w/an Alaskan camper $12K (listed as a "camper special" but does not appear to be one (i.e. or a Custom Camper, as it would be called in 72). Nice looking truck. Some Super add-ons in the interior it looks like. https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sf...199810128.html

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Oh
The games we play
Mr. ApacheIvan

When you go check it out
Make sure you take note, of how NOT to install your Camper mirrors
Then, look for a spid inside that NON wood grain glove box door
If you happen to find a spid there
Ask the owner when the doors were changed
Because there isn't a little screw hole below the wing window
Like there should be on a 72

Other than that
The paint and engine look to be correct

And
While your there
Look to see if there is a cargo light
On the back of the cab
Because, you can't fake a Cheyenne Super without it

I installed mine the way the assembly manual said to, but I think originally they were installed from the dealer in this position. You caught the wrong doors, you sure know more than I do I did not realize the wing window screw was 72 only. If those aren't the original doors then the paint would not be original either I think I will ask him for the SPID.

72 4x4 project $1700. Nice bumper! Maybe! Really bad photos.

https://portland.craigslist.org/yam/cto/6217182852.html

Needs motor. Comes with extra cab, brand new in the box front fenders, two doors that are in great shape, extra behind the seat gas tank. Truck has clean Oregon title in MY name. Also have a title for the other cab. More pictures available upon request. Everything on the truck works great other then the motor of course. Used to drive it to work in Hillsboro almost once a week. Open to some trades. Also have a 454 with all parts that could go with the truck.

Here is a nice truck. Good price. Nicely appointed. Looks like it needs rockers and cab corners. I had the owner send me the SPID. Here it is. A covered up Highlander!

Camperama - Part 1/3

1969 Chevrolet C30 Open Road Motorhome - $3250

I am selling my Chevy motorhome camper. I am looking to go to something smaller, I love this camper otherwise!

350/th400
51,000 miles
Blazer bucket seats
Fridge
Furnace
Sink
Stove
Rear fold down deck
Rear sliding glass patio door
Bunk beds in back
Table turns into bed
Queen bed above cab

I use this to tow my 6,000lbs race car and trailer to brainerd and back (300 mile round trip). I can run 60-65 and get 7 mpg. 9 mpg without the trailer.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Interesting truck - white/dk yellow with orange plaid is a striking combo. It's interesting how much trouble a po went to in order to make it a solid white truck. Check out that SPID - what I find interesting is that there appears to be white paint on top of the SPID clear cover (i.e. masked off the rectangular border of the SPID that was below the clear cover), and there also appears to be white UNDER the peeled up corners of the SPID (which I would have expected to be dark yellow...) Hmmm.. Nice find Dale, I saw that one on cl and thought "just another white C20..." (and I already have one)... and didn't ask for a SPID - am glad you did. The rust seems to be the reason for the price tag being "reasonable" but what a cool truck.

EDIT: Btw, this is what it would kinda look like. A beautiful, very uncommon 72 factory color -

Its because of you that I look for those hidden Highlanders.. I noted the door panels, black dash cover, black side vents. The dark yellow and the orange plaid is a really nice combo.

I wasn't sure where to put this. I found a great deal on a OEM original 72 Owners manual for 5 bucks in nice shape. I have one or I would jump on it. It is on eBay. Someone should grab this if you don't have one.
