Adding Door Speakers

Hey guys, I have a 92 GMC and I'm looking to put door speakers in. I have manual windows, so I can't just stick one in the middle. Last time I was at the junkyard though, I noticed the 95-98s had door speakers. Would it be possible to just take the inner door and the door panel off one of them and swap them onto mine?

Re: Adding Door Speakers

Keep them down low in the front. I had to trim very little sheet metal to fit the 6x9's. Mine is a 95 with the early interior. Only reason I went this route was previous owner already had 6 1/2's in the doors. May be different with the crank handles though. Also, to answer your question, the door panels all the way up to 98 should fit.
