It's actually this: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/milquetoast

Now, when I was in high school, I had a job as short-order cook at the local truck stop, and we served milk toast:

And I was always surprised at how many ordered it!

HEY, watch it.... I have hot milk toast every once in a while for breakfast. My recipe is: scald milk in micro, add some white or brown sugar and a small dash of vanilla and stir. Make 2 pieces of toast and break into small pieces in milk. Sprinkle with cinnamon and eat.... Good stuff, try it.

I never knew there was a comic character that it was associated with. I didn't actually use it,but heard it used by others where others might say "spoon fed"

You must have misunderstood. I kept it simple to be clear, but can spell it out further now. I meant being a wussie as a good thing. It says a lot for a person's strength in character, level of pride, and integrity (). When I was young we always called the big tough kid a wussie (then ran as fast and far as we could). I didn't want to waste a lot of words stating it takes a real man to require his milk to be warmed before consuming, either. The same goes for being spoon fed,in spite of how it may have been interpretted. Just with a man who requires his milk to be warmed,it takes true power to have your food fed by spoon by another (like an infant who keeps parents up all night crying). I'll have to try this tasty delight (when no other men are around). I hope I've cleared up any misconception of my statement in the prior post ()
