Rebuilding C20 Stock Power Steering?

Anyone familiar with all that goes with factory power steering on a '67? I'm not used to all of this and Hanes only has pump and power steering gear - not all the extra valve and cylinder.... Who has parts for this to repair or replace as needed. Truck is '67 Chevy C20 3/4 ton Camper Special.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I have this restored on my 67 1/2 ton. I got all the pieces to restore mine from lares Corp. They had every thing but the hoses which I found on ebay.

A lot of these parts are exactly the same as corvette ( except hoses). Now being you have a 3/4 ton I think that the ball joint at the end of the ram has a bigger shaft size so make sure not to discard yours. It is remove able and can be switched with one from a 1/2 toń or vetted.

Rock Auto I found carries Lares steering parts. I do have both Chassis Service & Overhaul manuals. Both valve & control cylinder look rebuildable?

I did rebuild my valve. It's fairly straight forward. I bought the ram already done so I'm not sure on that.

Ram is exposed to corrosion - so I may just change that too. Thank you for feedback.

To protect the chrome shaft I used a rubber from a mustang ram. I hope it saves it from getting pitted up.

Good idea - I remember that from my '66 Mustang power steering. ;-)
