Great day with the Burb!

I purchased a 1991 1/2 suburban in December, I love it the only thing that I don't like is the tailgate, they are a pain over the long haul.
So I remembered this old house 30 kms from town where there were several stored. Thought I might be able to get parts for the switch.
Went and looked today and talked to the lady who owns them, 5 of them!

Asked if she would sell parts , she said no but she wants to get rid of them.
I had a look and two are late 80's one is rust free, the other is easily 95% rust free.

Asked her what she wanted .............

$200.00 for both!

Came home and installed new weatherstrip on my 91.

Great day!
