Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part III

Thanks Reno. Looks can be deceiving. I guess that was really the point I was trying to make in the build thread. It seems that folks go for making one look good or making one sound mechanically, but not typically both. Of course I mean anyone outside of this forum. I think everyone on this forum is here to do the best of both.

Needs a lot of TLC. Plan on getting it back to like new condition and then pass it on to my son. After I enjoy it for a while, of course.
welcome to the forum from Texas , looks like a good truck to start with, and it will fun working on it. just make it safe and go have some fun .

I actually purchased mine on ebay several months ago for around $85. You can also purchase them from the manufacture.

Tom - it's really close. It's taking me a while to get used to the 6 gears, so I'm still messing around with the transmission shift points and torque converter lockup. Other than that, it's a beast and REALLY fun to drive, .

What are the 6 round things under the hood above the radiator? Beer holders? Gauges? LED lights?

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part III

There are so many nice rides on this site. Here's a couple of pics our 70 C-10. Day 1 when we got the truck home and day 794. After a little over 2 years its just about done. Once completed he'll get the keys to this one and I'll start looking for a second one for myself.

My Dad bought it new in 1969, I've owned since his passing and change it to the way it looks now, along with redoing the drive train fro a six with three on the tree to a built 350 and 4 speed,http://

My dad bought it new in 69, I got it about 20 years ago after Dad passed away and next it goes to the 7 year old Grandson when he's and I are both a little older.

Here's my yellow truck, not quite as nice as the one above. We've only had it a couple of months.
This was our first car show with it, my step son wanted the hood open.

Thanks. Been working on it. Getting it on the road was the first step.
