Cargo LED light's

asked me to post this video on my install of the thrid brake light that he made for me that took the place of my cargo light. He makes them either with the cargo light still functional are like mine that isn't. I never used mine since I installed my bed cover. It didn't do much good. Rob is also on Instagram @disciple2.rc. if you want to send him a message there. So here is the video of it working and how installed it. One of the things you have to remember is that it needs to be grounded seperate from the inside light ground. if you use the ground to the inside light you will have to remember to open the door everytime you come to a stop for it to work!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbIbFKnI0FY I used a old piece of drop cord to pull the new brake wire up through the corner of the cab. It was stiff enough to slide across and then drop down to tie the brake light wire to it and pull back up. The ground wire I just added another nut to the housing screw that holds in place. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |
