Re: Car display at the Reagan Library
My wife and I were very surprised at how small it is inside! There is more room and comfort on Southwest My boys spent a lot of time outside looking for rattlesnakes which are abundant in the area. They spotted a total of four during the day and kept the workers busy removing them with tongs and tossing them over the hillside.

Re: Car display at the Reagan Library
Great pics, leddzepp, thanks for sharing. Some really cool automotive history there. Love me some museums and things of days gone by.
Bit of personal trivia here, I retired from the Boeing Co. in Wichita, Ks. after 36 years. Reagon's AF1 aircraft, 707's #26000 & #27000 were maintained there in Wichita for many years. Have personal experience pulling the engines, flaps, horizontal stabalizers, vertical fin, main gear and such using mobile cranes. Same for the 747 replacements, #28000 & #29000. ALWAYS had many and several pairs of eyes on us whenever we were doing crane operations on the aircraft. Sadly, the Boeing Co. closed the Wichita facility a couple years after I retired. Strange to go by there now and not see any activity or aircraft on the ramp.
