Engine swap

I've asked this before but what all do I have to switch if I put a 1987 gmc 350 tbi in a 70 chevy. Do I need to put the wiring harness and computer from inside the cab on the 87 into the 70 cab? Thanks

Re: Engine swap

Yes if you want to run the TBI system

Unless you already have the donor you may want to reconsider. The LS swap seem to be the it thing and possibly even easier

Another thing I dislike about the 87 is the lack of serpentine belt

Re: Engine swap

Can you just swap the intake manifold out and take the tbi system off the 87 motor and put a carb on it?
