I know nothing, a little help?

what a great forum.
1. what is a p-pump and why do you want it over stock pump?
2. i would like to put a 4bt in my truck, do they take to power mods, nothing crazy.
3. exhaust manifolds look very small, would'nt you want a more free flowing manifold?

i have a lot more ??? thanks for any help.

Re: I know nothing, a little help?

IMO you build better power with a p pump you can shave the fuel plate or get like a #0 #10 etc.. and you could just go 6bt better and easier to find and you can get a ats 3piece manifold there pretty good

1. A p-pump is an inline injection pump on the 94-98 12v engines. The advantages of the p-pump are ease of adjusting and changing timing with proper tools, more rpm's with the proper govoner springs, and the biggest, more fueling. Your end result horse power goal and how much money you want to spend on an engine is the thing you need to figure out first.

2. 4b's are good engines. They do take mods well. The biggest complaint i know of on them is they tend to vibrate a lot. This can be helped and reduced by a fluid dampener, or an ATI dampener.

3. The manifolds flow more than you'd think. Plus keep in mind the exhaust pressure is usually the same as boost pressure or more, so those small ports help drive the turbo harder in stock form.

What else?
