Yesterday was like a mini birthday! Got my pedal adapter, thanks Kevin! Also recieved my Camaro tach for that popular conversion, and ordered my stock gauge overlay. Sweet!

Yes I have a few left from this run.

The rest of you guys I am glad they showed up quick and that you are all happy with them. As you can tell for what you get and the time I spend making them I only make a few bucks per after shipping and what not but I know how easy it made it for me and just want to keep passing that along. Yes they could use some more sanding and grinding to get a show piece but since they are normally under the dash and carpet I just spend long enough on them to not go negative. Happy WOT.

is anyone having issues with the upper part of the pedal hitting the duct for the defroster?

I have not heard any of this problem so far and the ones that I have installed have not had any clearance issues. Are you going through the dimple in the firewall that I marked out in the plans?

Re: LFD's gas pedal adapters (71-72 gas pedals in 67-70's)

i made my own adapter, so i didnt get plans..
i had made the adapter and i was just loosely checking the fit and did not have a cable hooked up at the time so i was running into the duct..

Re: LFD's gas pedal adapters (71-72 gas pedals in 67-70's)

Sorry guys I am currently out of the kits. I am leaving Friday for a week of family vacation with my son, wife and niece so it will be a few weeks before I can run another batch. I will post as soon as they are ready and I will try to run two batches this time as I can't seem to keep them in stock. Also as a side not I think one of the billet pedal companies is now reproducing their own 71-72 pedal assembly that should work great with this kit. So if you have wanted to do this conversion but could not find a pedal you may now be in luck.

Yes they bolt in and then the new pedal bolts to that making for a no paint retrofit.

Re: LFD's gas pedal adapters (71-72 gas pedals in 67-70's)

Ok as of tonight they have all been labeled and will ship out in the morning. Sorry for any delay but I was doing 16hr days at work and my tap broke last sunday and it was not until tonight I had time to pick up more.
But now I am out of brackets once again and I am looking into a shop to water jet them out and may add my logo to them as well but I will have to see what the up cost will be. Ether way I should have more ready to go in about 1-2 weeks.

If any more guys are interested in a bracket and purchase before I post about the cost of the shop made brackets they will get them for the old cost, but if the price is through the roof you will get the current bracket for the regular price. So who feels lucky

I am pulling the trigger on the new brackets today and should have them some time next week. I will keep the price the same for the first batch of 20 then it will go up to $40 ea.
