New to the board

Hey all,

New to the board, owned my baby for 3 and a half years now.

I'll have some questions for you all I'm sure in the near future.
Love the site and meeting some people with my same love.

Married with one kid...that's my wife behind the truck...and no she's not a midget!

so maybe my first question should be HOW DO YOU POST PICS?

Tried to several times and got is way under 100K...then it came up with this message...

The image that you have attached is too big. Please make it no bigger than 642 x 0.

WTF?

Thanks

Sometimes it seems you have to have your fingers crossed to get a pic to load, other times it is no problem. I try to keep mine at 72 dpi and then modify the size until the pic will load if I am having difficulty.

Welcome!

You can post them bigger- I go into paint to resize. Click on "image" then "stretch/skew" then put a # in the "horz" and "vert" spot (pick a # that is smaller than 100 to make the picture smaller- like 75 works good for me) then check it by going to "image" then to "attribute" it needs to read at or smaller than 640x480. Go to "file" then to "saveas" I usually save the file to a place that is easy to find, then post it the usual way thru your Post Reply.

Thanks Blazin....so 640X480 is the key huh not 642X0

I'm in Utah, currently, about 40 min south of SLC.

Sorry LT, not too much for sale. I do have an extra aluminum intake manifold and a spare gage console thingy ( don't know the proper name.)

Anyone out there able to ID this?

I pulled it off my frame the other night when I finally noticed it after 3 years of the stiffest ride in the world. It sat right behind the drivers side shackle and kept it from moving more than a 1/2 inch or so. Man what a difference. I feel like such the moron for not seeing it earlier, or for believing the guy at the local 4X4 shop when he told me I need a new $2000 lift kit. Anyway, what the hell is it for, and why did I only have one?

Never seen that part, but I've never looked for it either. hummm. $2000 for a lift kit? Was that from CrackSmokers4x4?

The key to photos is the largest dimension can't be any larger than 640pixels.

Oh yeah, welcome from the Pacific NW. Please take the time to fill out your profile. It will help us, help you! Nice looking K5!
