Sorry to hear that....wish you could be there. The problem in setting up a meet is where is the best location. I thought since this is an established Truck Show and it's somewhat centrally located in Ohio it would be worth giving it a shot. As mentioned before this is not the first meeting for the Ohio guys but it will be the first meet in conjuction with the Vintage Truck show. I am hoping to get 20-25 trucks.

Great News...
We have our second set of prizes donated by WES of Classic Heartbeat. So now we have prizes donated by this Site (JOSH) and now by WES...

I want to email some other Vendors to see if they can donate any prizes. I realize not all will be able to because last year was a really tough year as far as profits. If any of you have any ties to any Vendors feel free to ask about possible donations. If they can donate great and if not that is ok too.

Geeeee...I wonder if I can get a dealership to donate a new pick up truck?

Good question...what would be the cost of doing plaques be? What size? What style etc. Good idea...I never thought about giving away plaques...I'll do some research. Have you done something like this before. Anybody else done Plaques before???

I wasn't talking about a plaque to hang on the wall. Just a little(1"X3") plastic thing to attach to yer glove box door. I wouldn't think they'd cost to much? Would you want them for everyone who brings a truck there, or just board members? Would sure lower cost if they were for board members only? Then, you'd only be talkin about 30-35 max?

Yep...thats what I was thinking. Dash plaques. Initially I thought just board members...then I thought it would be nice if anyone who joins in would get one. Hopefully the board benefits from this meet also.
I have ine HWY Yellow truck that I am thinking of giving away as a door prize. I gave one to the Tn. meet last year and I still have an extra sitting in the office. Not that I am rich with $$$ to throw away but one always wants the 1st meet to be special.

1000% YES!!! The door prizes are for anyone belonging to the 67-72 Chevy/GMC family. Weather you drive your truck or come in the family car...it makes you qualified to win a door prizes. Also it's just not 67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks. If you have a 46 you qualify, if you have a 56, you qualify, if you have a 66 you qualify, if you have a 76 or 86 you are qualified to win a prize.
