These are a few shots of a cover I made that goes between the lower section of dash and console.

Pic 1. Template.

Pic 2. Transferred to metal.

Pic 3. After getting the shape I wanted I fine tuned the fit.

Pic 4. Another view.

What are you covering it with? I'm envious of the metal work! Looks good.

Greg,The ramboard is 3ft by 50ft roll so you can just cut to the size you need.
where do you get the chipboard paper?

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D

Pic 1. The band all drilled .

Pic 2. The top piece drilled as well.
Both of these will match the other pieces in the truck.

Pic 3. After putting insulation on back of cab I made pieces for mounting the fuse panel and this will aid in mounting clips for the wiring.

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D

Greg, Yes ive used the craft paper as well. It is a bit flimsy for making some templates. The RamBoard can be bent with a sheet metal break to make a perfect template.

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D

Just for my curiosity I tried the chip board in my metal break....works pretty good...I'd hadn't thought about bending it in the break....that's a good idea Mark..

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D

here is a shot of the insulation at my shop.

The link from Amazon is exactly the same stuff.
A box of 10 is $89 so a bit more expensive.
