I need a '68 bench seat

I'm looking for a bench seat out of a '68 truck.
This will need to be nice enough to install new reproduction upholstery on.
I'm trying to keep from purchasing all new foam.
I know the '68 seat brackets are different from '69-'72 brackets,... so I'd really like to find an original '68 seat.

Let me know what you guys have out there.
Preferably close to Missouri, so I can come pick it up.
Thanks.

I don't know,... are they the same?
Do you have any pics?
Especially the bottom side that would show the tracks.
Also,... how much?

Parting a 68 right now. The flip forward seat is in decent shape. Would you have any way to get it from northern MN?

I have a really nice one that has solid springs and foam. I'd give it to you if you lived near me.

Re: I need a '68 bench seat

I think that must be a different seat than my 68 takes.
Mine has 4 total holes on each seat bracket (that bolt to the floor).
Not one on each end.

Re: I need a '68 bench seat

I found a set of buddy buckets for $500 locally.
(so no shipping)
I just haven't had a chance to look at them.

It honestly could be!

As it was sitting in place with like only one or two bolts holding it in place when I bought the truck.

Re: I need a '68 bench seat

Keith, I am in the springfield area, I will look at mine and make sure it is in good shape. It has been out and in my shop for a few years. and currently has one of the seat covers on it I never removed after having it for 15-20 years. I swapped seats also.
