Love it! My first vehicle was a 71 C-20 with 250 6cyl, three-on-the-tree. Will always hold a special place in my heart. Keep up the great work!

Great job, Truck looks cool. You might look through the forum for shock relocation. The ride in the back would be improved considerably. You don't have to buy anything, just some mods to the original equipment.

Man, you have that thing looking good! I'm digging that color combo. I love a white grille on a GMC.

What a fantastic build thread. I can't get enough of the "making due with what I have" mentality. That's what shows dedication to building trucks in my mind. If you can't afford it, figure out a work-around, but get it done. A spray painted truck running down the road is better than a Porterbuilt, Accuair, LS swap truck all torn apart in the garage.

I completely agree. I was wincing when I seen the white suspension parts as I was following the build but after I see it together, it looks like the right choice for a rad color coordinated truck.

Nice work man, your truck is really looking good. Nothing can make you feel better than accomplishing something on one of these trucks that's going to last for years.
Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the kind words, well said. I was worried about putting the truck in that car show thought that i might get laughed out of the parking lot, but to my surprise most everyone there felt the same way you all do. it was a pretty great experience thanks again.

You have created a fantastic looking truck that is competely yours and shows well.
Great color you selected.
I wonder how that would look on a long bed?

I had a '67 GMC 3/4 years ago and loved the small window, white grill look of the GMC.
It would be nice to find one again.

seems like the low-budget do everything yourself with what you have kinda builds turn out to be pretty interesting.

when you dont have a lot of $$ or resources the creativeness comes out!

nice build dude the truck turned out sweet

Thanks, yeah the budget was built on how much the wife would authorize me to spend on what was supposed to be a work truck.
