on the "needs the hole in the head subject" i talked to a goodwrench guy at the dealer and he said it won't hurt a thing.

Weird. Mine is a sealed bearing but not plastic.

My idler pulley, as well as George's, are metal....and I know his came right out of a truck (non-aftermarket)

hmm, they must have changed em. my father inlaw's 91 blazer died on the interstate the other day and i had to go fix it. that's what it was. it melted the whole pulley flat

. it had a tiny spacer that was cup shaped between the pulley and the nut that holds it on. when we got the one from the store it was metal and it wouldn't work with that spacer. works fine now though

. must be early model specific or somthing.

Looks like I would need to find one off a tpi car.I am running a TPI on my suburban.They serp set up looks good.

Bryan, Fan looks good. Kinda dusty. 5 blades approx 19" diameter. Cooled my c-20 with a 4 row rad fine during Sacramento summers in traffic. Fit within shroud fine. Do not remember how far back from radiator fan sat. Clutch leaking, took it off. Weight 4.83lbs dims of 20x19x4. Fed Ex home delivery $8.05.
