72Chevy Black or silver inner grill "Help me choose"
Was there any 71-72's that came with a painted black inner grill from the factory?
I have been wanting to paint the inner grill on my truck I was going to paint it the original color silver but now I am debating on what color to paint it Black Or Silver. Please people Help me choose what would look best for my truck you can see pictures of my truck in my profile & sig. Thanks guys

To answer your question though, no, the factory never made them black. They were always gray/silver. Trevor

Here's mine in black..needs to be repainted now though. Not sure if I'm gonna wrap black paint around the headlights or leave it like it is.

With the lighter colors, black looks good. I do like a stock look as well. I know, this was no help. lol

Black, pick a paint that matches the matte/satin black around the headlights. Looks alot more mean with a black grill

I have seen a few painted black and the chrome around it was painted body color. It worked on the trucks I saw.
