04 S10 Blazer quit running

First time posting here and need some advise please. We have an 04 S10 Blazer, 4.3, and today it quit running. First the gas gauge, and tach quit, then no lights(DRL's turn, etc.) Started running rough, then quit. I tried to start it, but it just clicked. Jump started it with my 65 Suburban, and ran for about 2 minutes then died, and no start again. Just clicks. Replaced the starter about a month ago. Towed it with my truck, to the local auto electric shop, and he says it might be the power distribution module. It's been running fine since we bought it about 2 months ago. Anyone else have this happen, and what was the cause/repair?
I'm not up to speed with these new vehicles that's why I drive an old Sub. so any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

Re: 04 S10 Blazer quit running

I'd check battery connections, my 93 acted really wonky and then I found out my connectors were corroded.

Re: 04 S10 Blazer quit running

Thanks BlackedOut. Got it back from the shop yesterday...$225 for a new alternator and labor. This is the first time I've had an alternator quit on me, and of course with all the electronics, it killed everything. I did check connections, and they were clean. Hope this helps anyone else who has this issue.
