81-87 drivers seat be installed in a 67-72 pickup???

Thanks!!! It looks like I'll have to weld some metal on the bottoms of the seat to use it in a 67-72. Not an impossible thing. Found a later seat here for my buddys 71.

I put one in mine. Just made a metal plate to bolt to the factory holes in the seat, then used that to bolt the original sliders on to.

While mine is nowhere near driving, just sitting in it feels fine. I have an 83 K20, and I can't feel any difference. As far as being too narrow, I can't see any problems. It looks right to me. Its a straight bench.
