Re: bbc headers ??? for 67

I bought ones for a 73-87 truck and they fit fine. I did have to trim the frame to make the correct 68-71 style bb motor towers to fit. My frame was a '67 GMC.

Re: bbc headers ??? for 67

I have Hooker comps for chevelle on my 69. Nice fit & tuck in the rails a lot better than truck headers. I did have to modify the trans xo a bit to tuck the pipes up to match the headers though...

Re: bbc headers ??? for 67

I had a set of hooker super comps on my 67, part number 2841 for a 68 and up BBC.... Did not like them after I lowered the truck, they hung way below the frame and hit the ground when the bags where aired out... I seen that Corn used a set of chevelle headers on his truck so I bought a set of hooker comp headers part # 2455 for a BBC Chevelle... The only problem that I ran in to was the shift linkage hitting the collector and the driver side ART conrtol arm hitting the tubes. Moved the motor back about 1/2 inch and I was a happy man... well worth the time

I had a cheapy set of Flowtechs. I never had any trouble with them. I'd use them again for the same application.

These also fit nice and do not hang below the frame..
