Original 2wd Blazer spotted

Yep,The family and I had just came out of the local restaurant and there it was....a 71 2wd Blazer. One lucky son of a b*tch who ever the owner was.If I had my camera I would have took a pic but I didn't.Anyway it was red.It had rally wheels.Of course with the 80 degree weather the owner had the top off.I didnt get to see under the hood because the owner wasnt around and if he caught me under the hood he would have guessed I was stealing it.
I thought I loved 4wds but is my 2wd lowered 67-72s part of me coming back out..I think so.
So maybe someday I will chop down a truck frame and put a blazer tub on and call it a 2wd...but for now I'm keeping my shortbed 4x4.But you know,I still have all my 2wd parts from when I owned 2wd trucks so I'm already half way there when it comes to building a 2wd blazer. Now I just need to find a tub to start with...Maybe this is next years project
