Anybody heard from Mel at Classic Bowties?

I have left him a couple messages and nothing back. I know he Elk hunts so not sure if anyone in Portland has been by his place.

I've seen where a member asked the same question before. I believe the explanation was Mel is a commercial fisherman, out on the water for extended periods of time

I bought some NOS wheel tubs for the bed and I need them to get a paint quote.

No kidding huh? I'll have to ask him about that. My son is in the business as well.

I bought some parts off Mel maybe a month ago.

It is not a huge deal so I hope he is ok. They don't stay out at sea for four months at a time.

You're right about not being out so long for sure. I hope all is well as well. I guess keep trying, this coming from one who isn't good at that. I hope he gets back to you soon, though.

Update: Mel is fine.

He has been busy and not checking PM, cell phone, email etc. he called me today.

Called his home line and his son relayed my message.
