late model bench seat help

so i have read lots and lots of threads about doing seat swaps. i had seen a couple of trucks with 95-98 tahoe/suburban 2nd row seats and i really liked the look and the seats.

today i just bought a seat from a 1998 tahoe 2nd row and im trying to see how it would be installed because the back bolt mounts are a few inches higher than the front. i know these will need modification and have a slight idea how to go about it. anybody else that has these seats have pictures and tips? how did you mount them? also would like to see install pics of other late model seats for ideas.

Re: late model bench seat help

2nd row suburban and tahoe seats mount differently. The tahoe seats have the raised rear mounts like you are speaking of, and the suburban ones dont. If you look at them side by side it is obvious. If you don't have one of each to compare it could go unnoticed.
