Already gone,

How did that happen? Blind crossing? I don't mean any disrespect. How do you get hit by a train? Stopped by traffic and couldn't move out of the way? Just wondering not trying to hijack the thread...

It was my own stupidity. I was eastbound and wanting to go southbound on across street. The barricade was down at the right hand cut through and went 50more feet and made a 90degree right hand turn onto the cross street that had no barricade figuring I could besat the train, and I didn't.. I was stupid and am very lucky to be alive.

I had looked for a good Burb for over a year and found that one a month earlier with only 89,00 miles on it. It also had a trailer tow package and 3:42's with posi. I lost my Burb but because it was a Burb is probably why I'm still standing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well its like this.. When I knew I was gonna get hit I had enough time to say to myself out loud, and I quote " Aw f**k I'm gonna die".. I was pushed about an eighth mile and yes it was loud and scary. If you notice I have a bruise on my left arm, its from me hanging on and twisting the steering wheel and I was being pushed down the tracks.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

No Pic (sorry), but my most significant mod is putting in a cargo bed light, and wiring it to the brake circuit to be my third brake light. I use a red light bulb and it works real well. Cnut

I have one on my white stepper made by Perma-Cap. The cap has a round flap door in the center for the gas nozzle to go thru. I have had it on for five years and never any trouble at all. This may be worth looking into for yours.

Re: lets see your trick mods and custom touches!!

Here are a few things that were done in my truck when we redid it....

Power steering lines thru the frame....

inside the engine compartment

shaved firewall....

shaved antenna.....

Hidden a/c lines

All the wiring was replaced and extended and ran thru the inner fenders and frame not one wire exposed..

piocture to show no wires in sight only the spark plug wires because it needs them
