Who makes ad-on transmission overdrives other than Gear Vendors?

Possibly looking into adding O/D to my TH350 transmission and was wondering if another company other than Gear Vendor makes a add-on overdrive. I've read that the Gear Vendor one is rock solid but I'm just trying to compare different options.
I rather keep my current transmission rather than swap out to another O/D one since it's just been rebuilt.
I'm planning on doing more longer distance traveling this year and the O/D option would be nice.
So are there any other suppliers for this besides Gear Vendor?

Thanks

US Gear used to make one but they are not anymore. It was cable operated and I really was liking the idea of no electronics and much lower cost. Outside of them and GV, I haven't seen anything else available. Very small market since OD transmissions became widely available.

Re: Who makes ad-on transmission overdrives other than Gear Vendors?

I know of 2 guys running those GV units, both of these guys bought them used and now they are in their 2nd rigs.

I wanted a new one but the same cost as a transmission today.

Both of my friends state they are rock solid and have not had to repair anything on these items, hence they saved them and put into a 2nd project and both are daily drivers.

I do not know how to get a better recommendation than that! One is is a GMC and the other is a Ford!

Not directly answering your question (I only know of GV), but unless you get one cheap, by the time you add up the cost of the GV unit and the fab work to install it, you could get a 700R4, rebuild, and install it for the same price or cheaper. Then sell the TH350 to recover some of your money. I assume you've already thought of this, just putting my vote out there. Who knows, maybe you will get lucky and find a used GV unit, but most guys hang on them like gold! Good luck.

Having gone to GV and did a bunch of research, be cautious about buying a used one. There are 2 different generations and GV does not support nor are there parts for the earlier unit. They will rebuild a 2nd gen one for about $900, if needed.
