I'll have a '72 Cheyenne Super of my own someday.

I could, it's always ready for the road.......if I wasn't in a wedding next weekend you'd be looking at my ugly mug. Who gets married on Labor Day weekend?

BTW, you know I'm always open to trades....

I want that truck too, Keith. I have ALWAYS had a love for the white/blue Cheyenne. matter of fact, my first memories of a "cool" truck was a blue and white Sierra down the road from my parents.

oh Chris, what a beaut! Wish we would be seeing you next w/e!

Adding some info. 1976 brochure, and the nos caps are the short ones. I am unsure what combo of wheels and caps went on what...

The bottom box has a date of 76...

4 1/4" on the NOS caps, and looks like 5" that are on my wifes truck. Those are identical except the height.

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels

The guy I am buying my wheels from asked if I wanted 15 x 7" or 8", said he had a set of each for sale.

Is there any advantage to running a 7" on the front of my '63? A disk brake install is in the future, will use OE part.

Anybody need a set? I'm in NE MO, but plan to head to KCMO this weekend.

Re: Super rare, 15x7 (6-lug) ralley wheels

David, I'm not super familiar with the front/rear end on the '63 trucks, but if you rear end is narrower (similar to the '69s) then it would be in your best interest to pick up the 7's while you are at it. Otherwise, after you add the disc brake setup in the front, your front track width will be wider than your rear.

Are you keeping the 6-lug setup?

Refer to my build thread in my signature for some comparison pictures.

Also David,... per "site rules that you agreed to",... you have to be a subscribing member to offer up parts for sale.

Mine didnt stick outside the fenders and mine is 5/7

Well they weren't technically "outside" the fenders, but they were a little close for comfort. By running the 7's we were able to make sure they didn't rub while running down the road, and they gave that "tucked" look.

I put a set of 15 x 8.5 Centerline ConvoPros w/225-60-15 tires on a front disc conversion with bags and they never touched...the OUTER fender. The backspace was probably 4.5" so it would be equal to a 15x8 rally. The top of the tire started in when the upper a-arm passed parallel and they tucked even with dropped spindles . I think the shorter tire from what 72BlckButy is running was the difference.

The height is most likely what the difference was. That 225-60 was only 25.6" tall.

Quick question...I'm converting over to 5-lug on my 67...but am adding disc brakes. Am I going to run into this issue also? Are there 15x7 5-lug ralleyies out there? Thanks!
