I'm a Cadillac guy but I never liked the Seville's. Especially the humpback ones. They looked like someone had rear ended them. They were just fugly like the Mustang II's. Who thought those looked good? Uglier than a fat girl that hasn't taken a shower in a month.

My father-in-law had that same Cadillac. Before that they had a Riviera, I think an '84. It was kind of cool because I had bought my wife a '63 Riviera, so she and her mom both drove Rivieras.

My dad had a '77 Seville. It was silver on silver on silver. It was an instant classic and a big leap for Cadillac toward what they are today, downsized performance oriented. That car ran great. Fuel Injected Olds 350

Looked like this except wire wheelcovers

Get one. I tried so hard to get my girlfriend to get one. She didn't listen (what else is new ).

Just like my Eldorado I like the long hood. Longer than a night in jail.

The first "family" car I bought while my wife was pregnant with our first child was a 1985 Fleetwood D' Elegance. White with tan leather. I bought it in 1991, and immediately had the car phone installed on the floor. Only $0.75 a minute.

I've never owned a car, but if I did, it would be this 68 Caprice Estate Wagon - 427 with a 4-speed.

Back in HS a buddy had an Olds Toronado that was a boat. I had a 71 Coupe Deville for a short time. Another land yacht. No pics though.

The designers spent lots of time at the drawing tables back then, unlike today.
I do miss the 50s and 60s in a lot of ways.

I always said GM designed the best looking cars. Ford took what GM did and changed it a little with superficial bumps and bulges. Mopar did whatever was left over. Like angled headlights and fins that weren't really fins. But I agree, that funkiness attracts me now. Better looking than what is sold now, by far!
