'50 3100 Build

I've been lurking around here for long enough, so i figure i should at least start a build thread.


Here's what im hoping it will turn out like:


The day i went and picked it up:


Removing the cab:


Getting things apart:


Stripped frame:


Blasted frame, installing crossmember:


Finish welding:


Making rear frame rails:


Rails installed:


Getting further:


Boxing:


Rear end, 4 link, crossmember:


Engine mount:


Engine mount:


Engine/tranny:


Tranny crossmember:


Gas tank:

Very nice work. Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out. Your rendering looks good, did you do that?

Also, what's going on with the 53 Plymouth in the background. Show us some more pics of it.

Thanks for the comments folks. Yes, i did the sketch of the truck.

As for the 53, i dont really have any other pictures of it. Its my old mans project. He was in the process of making a new roof for it in the pictures you see. Its got a removable cloth covered hard top.
