Changint the output shaft in a 700r4

Can anyone tell me the difficulty in doing this. The tranny has just been rebuilt and no fluid has been put into it. I can't decide if I am going to tackle this or take it to a tranny shop.

You'll have to disassemble the transmission to change the output shaft. I know that's not what you wanted to hear.
