Re: 1989 GMC JIMMY 2WD Fully Conv.

Nice Jimmy.... I have been keeping an eye out for a full vert top and windshield frame. I wish I had the balls to go full out roadster with my Jimmy.

You should post some build pics if you have any....

Re: 1989 GMC JIMMY 2WD Fully Conv.

I might have taken 5 yrs. (so far) but IMO it was time well spent. Good looking truck.

If the interior comes out 1/2 as well - you've got a winner!

hey wises can you do me a favor and take a closer pic of the end of the swaybar close to the a-arm please, I have a bud with those a-arms and he is thinking of putting the sway bar on and that looks like the stock swaybar with a tab welded to it for a link bar...Thanks

Re: 1989 GMC JIMMY 2WD Fully Conv.

No, that's where I am at, just the box. I didn't like the way it looked specially taking all the space. I hope I get a buyer the way it is and start my son's truck. I have it on EBAY for 40K and easily invested over 80K. The next one I wont spend too much money on making the Mechanical side as prestige as this one so I can enjoy a nice ride more often. It was like a drug, I got hooked on fixing this one that spent more than I needed to. and not really into Car shows anymore like before. So if I get a buyer, I will make the next one more driveable, but the memory will always be there.
