Yet ANOTHER blazer tank question??

I'm sure that this has been posted somewhere (probably multiple times) but it's just not jumping out at me. How far below the frame does the blazer tank hang once installed?

Thanks guys!

Re: Yet ANOTHER blazer tank question??

Here is mine.

From the frame rail down it's about 8 inches. This is with an original 72 Blazer tank, not a repo unit so not sure if they would hang lower or not.

What's the height from the ground to your rear wheel arch?

My CST10 is lowered some.

Re: Yet ANOTHER blazer tank question??

With stock new rear springs I get 9 inches clearance under the tank on level ground. If you are worried about the clearances you could make a skid plate. Myself I want another 3 inch drop springs in the rear. Here is a pic before I installed the bumper n after.

Re: Yet ANOTHER blazer tank question??

My tailpipe tips are hanging approximately 6" lower then the frame. I've been told more then once that they look close to dragging when pullng in and out of steep driveways and parking lots. Looks like I need another option.
