69-72 K5 Pop Top Camper.

Just thought i'd put out the word. An older guy i know in town has a 72 Jimmy and it has the 4 wheel drive pop top camper on it. He is looking to trade it for a top and tailgate. It is in excellant condition for its age. He has moved up to a 74 GM motorhome they travel in so he wants to put the jimmy back to stock. A great oppurtunity for the right person. If anyone has any intrest pm me and i'll get you in touch with the owner...

Hi,
Any chance of getting some pics..? I don't think I have ever seen one so I have no idea what it would look like.. Is it similar to the Vanagons..?

So it like the Vanagons a little.. Does it have a bed as well, I am assuming it might be placed over the cab area..? What is the interior like..? It looks pretty neat actually..

Re: 69-72 K5 Pop Top Camper.

I am sure this is long gone.... but if not let me know.

More importantly does anyone have interior shots?

Did these mount to the bed rails or were they a slide in? I thought I have read they were more of a topper setup where the camper things (stove, heater etc) were all mounted up high on the walls of the unit itself.

I ask because I have a roll cage to deal with and short of major modifications to it slide in's are out for me.
