Chevy 292 in-line six Motor Mount question

Does anyone have a picture of the passenger side motor Mount, where it connects to frame and also showing the block mounting for the 292 in-line six engine. My engine will be installed in a 1968 Chevy C-10 which has a 250 in line six cylinder at the moment. I am missing a part for my install and trying to see if the part I am missing, is an item I can purchase.

Thanks for any and all help in this matter.

Re: Chevy 292 in-line six Motor Mount question

The 292-only passenger side motor mount is a hard-to-get item. A lot of them got junked when young hotrodders decided a V8 was cooler. No one ever thought that part would be wanted again.
There is a RH motor mount aftermarket piece, but it's undesirable to me because it mounts symmetrically, just like the 230/250 L6s, and forces you to delete the Mechanical Fuel pump and go electric. This mount bolts onto the fuel pump mounting holes. That renders 292 cams obsolete.
To my knowledge, no one reproduces a proper 292 RH mount. GM went to the trouble to relocate this mounting to counteract the heavy torque this engine produces. I have a few pics of my 292 on the passenger side. They are not motor mount specific close ups, but you may see something.

Re: Chevy 292 in-line six Motor Mount question

@'68OrangeSunshine - Thank you for the reply, I have the 250 in my son’s 68 Chevy with a 3 speed. I have the 292 engine in my garage and a set of 292 specific mounts, but I don’t have the frame Mount on the passenger side. I do have the motor Mount for the passenger side that connects to the engine but missing the part of frame that it mounts too.

Thanks for the pic but I need a different angle of that motor Mount.

If it's a K/10 there is also a 292-Only crossmember, that mounts diagonally.
Since you're a dues paying regular member, you could post a Want-To-Buy ad in the Parts for Sale forum.

My son’s truck is a C10 2WD, do you know if this crossmember would also work on the installing the 292 into a non-4WD chassis.

I know I a missing a part, I just don’t know what that part looks like.

Thank you for the info, anything helps steering me in the right direction!

The 4wd engine mount crossmember will NOT work in a 2wd application.

Cap'n Fab's right. It's not necessary.
As for the 3/4, 1 Ton chassis, I don't know.

N2GM, is one of the towers what you're looking for?
BTW, mine's not for sale.
