Re: What else have you put por-15 on?

I have my doors off so I poured a little bit inside the door and rotated them to let the POR 15 get into the area where the door skin attaches to the door worked great. I will also use some in the vent are

I painted an area on my shed floor and sprinkled a small amount of silica sand in it. I have a large sliding door and my foot sometimes slipped when I was trying to open it. No more problems after the paint and sand and it is still there after two years...

Re: What else have you put por-15 on?

I coated the inside of the trunk in my old town car, in the process I did a chiltons manual, a tool box lid, some carpeting and floormats and if memory serves, I got some on a carb too.
This was 6 years ago and the manual is holding up pretty good.

Didn't you sleep in that Town car that night and get a good buzz? lol Was that up at Mike's house? I bet that Town car does not have a rusted out trunk wherever it is today.

Re: What else have you put por-15 on?

LOL!!!! I wonderred if anyone who was there was going to read this!
Yep, it was the same town car that I had the 500 in the trunk, and it was at mikes's (ohio meet 2004) that it happened. (longhorn jeff has a photo) I wouldn't say I slept in the car, I would say I passed out in it from the fumes.
The car was sold in 05, and the kid I sold it to totaled it. Every time I saw him in traffic he has smoke rollin off the right rear tire.

Have to admit Jeff did make some killer chicken wings that night, or maybe it was just the beer, etc.

Re: What else have you put por-15 on?

Tops of floor pans, undersides of floor pans, inside repaired rust prone rockers and doglegs, interior of firewall, exterior of firewall, on fenders under battery trays, inside doors, inside rust prone heater passages, on trim and brackets, on trailer D rings, on the lift arms of a rotary hoist, etc, etc....
It has all held up exceptionally well.
