As long as it's working.
I think the ones from the 81-87 might be the same, not sure though.
He has a 86 and needs one that says KM only on it.
I will email him and let him know the price.
I can pay you by either paypal, or a internaional money order, your choice.
Thanks for the help.

I am not sure if a 80 will work in a 86. If someone reading this will let me know.

Thanks

One book I have says 83-87 only.
The other book says 79-87

Russell,
If yours will work, I will take it as long as it's in good working order and says KM only. He doesn't want miles.

Jason Spears,
Still get me a price on one close to the 86 year, if the one from Russell won't mate up, I will email you for help.

Thanks guys.

Tommy

it should work at least the mph ones work ive got an 86 with a bout 77 speedo in it. as long as it mechanical it should work of course he cannot use his cruise with the speedo unless u find a speedo with hole to mount the sensor on..... im kind of partial to seeing 100 on the speedo when im actually doin 100 :p

The 80 speedo was the stock speedo in my truck, it has both km/h and mph on it - up to 85 mph. The truck is equipped with cruise, but none of it is related to the physical speedo in any way near the dash bezel. Tommy, I shipped one of these to the states and it cost about $5.00 for everything to the states. For you, I will package, and ship it to you for free. You've done lots and well deserve it, if it doesn't mate up, then sell it on ebay and keep the cash you earn.

Thanks for the help. Wouldn't know if it mates up or not. It will be going to the netherlands in Europe.
This is exactly what he wrote me: The speedometer I'm looking for has KM on the outside and miles on the inner ring. I saw one in a Canadian Suburban, but that one didn't work anymore. For all I know the one in my Sub is mechanical.

PM sent with my shipping address. I can pay the shipping.

I have no idea if his is cruise or not. He has bought emblems and other things from me in the past, and I gave him my offer to help like I did here on the board.

Being that old, the cruise might not work. I know in my 84 it doesn't.

Here is his reply about the cruise.

"I do have cruise control on my Sub. The exact model is: Chevy Suburban
C20 7.4 ltr big block Silverado. "
