Cinnamon Patina
Anybody every try this on a truck?
http://www.ehow.com/how_5028095_make...tin-signs.html My wife spotted this on Pinterest and it got me to thinking, why not a whole truck painted like this? You can google cinnamon patina paint and get other examples.

Re: Cinnamon Patina
It's a lot easier to just park it out in the back yard for 35 years or so.
God I hate this fake stuff. Brian

Re: Cinnamon Patina
Thanks for the link! It looks really good actually. Wonder how the cinnamon would hold up over time.

I was wondering if anyone had heard of it. I understand the haters. I'm not crazy about the fake either. But, unless you can find a 50 year old truck with no major dents and no rust-thru, and original paint (pretty rare) and you want this look, what else do you do? Show quality paint jobs are above my pay-grade and this looks easy.

Paint it how YOU like it. You're entitled to your opinion just as they're entitled to theirs.

Re: Cinnamon Patina
I dig it. People like me who want an original paint truck but instead have one with a crappy backyard repaint don't have many options. Body is rough. Skills are not currently there. Cost of paint. Etc... What's wrong with a fake patina driver that a normal guy can enjoy? I say go for it! Opinions are like buttholes I guess, everyone's got one lol. Half the fun is researching and discussing.
