Re: "BIG" truck forum C/40, C/50, C/60 and the like...

i think a holliday trip to arizona is in order , the parts seem small enough to be hauled along in the plane in a suitcase , with the amount of parts needed it prolly be cheaper too

Cool truck. I would suggest ebay if you are able to get sellers to ship to you.

Re: "BIG" truck forum C/40, C/50, C/60 and the like...

Great Forum!!! I have 2 truck at this time, the 1960 Chevy LCF & the 1965 GMC Rescue Squad. The LCF has had all the bad rusted metal stripped off it and is now just a bear frame. I'm looking to find a good LFC body or GMC B-model to put back on it.

The 1965 GMC 3500 Rescue Squad I got this past summer, it is a FUN Truck!!!

Re: "BIG" truck forum C/40, C/50, C/60 and the like...

I have had a few others in the past, like this 1952 Chevy COE

I had a working home made tow truck on a 1966 Chevy C60 with 366 V8

I also had a 1970 Chevy C60 with a service body.

Sorry, when I wrote "whatayaknow" I didn't mean it in any relation to your screen name. I started this poll years ago and I was just jokingly commenting on how it turned into us getting a big truck forum. If you go back and read my first post or 2 at the beginning of page 1 it will make more sense.

Re: "BIG" truck forum C/40, C/50, C/60 and the like...

you could do a like new restore on the paint and try to find out wat was on the back of the truck and show the truck to the coca cola company , they might just want to use the truck for advertizing

do a strong motor in it and a good suspension try to get the weightdistribution close to 50/50 front to back and you might even try to get the fastest cola delivery truck on the ovaltrack and make some cash on entertaining the crowd on top of the advertizingstuff for coca cola

Thats awesome! I don't know what I'd do with it, but I would definitely leave the paint as it is.

If it doesn't sell, run an ad in your local classifieds. It is way too good to crush. There area a lot of good parts on there.

Looks pretty solid. Already has the right wheel base to be a nice hauler.
