Horn contact assembly order

Can someone post a diagram of how the horn contact parts are assembled, in order, in the steering wheel for an 84 Sierra without tilt column? My horn works, but there isn't any "spring" in the button on the steering wheel. I've tried to find a new spring washer, the one with the 3 holes and slots in it as I think that part is my problem. I've replaced the turn signal switch, as well as the contact and spring.
Thanks
